Introduced as part of Fender's expansion beyond its traditional solid-body designs, the Coronado combines classic Fender styling with a resonant hollowbody construction and a unique voice that stands apart from the Telecaster and Stratocaster.

Designed by Roger Rossmeisl, the Coronado features an elegant double-cutaway body and vintage-inspired appointments that reflect the experimental spirit of Fender's late-1960s lineup. Its DeArmond-designed pickups deliver a distinctive combination of warmth, clarity, and articulation, with a character that works beautifully for jazz, blues, rock, and vintage-inspired playing.

This example has been professionally refretted, providing improved playability while preserving the character of the original instrument. The potentiometers, pickup selector switch, and output jack have also been replaced for reliable performance. Importantly, the original components are included with the guitar, allowing the next owner to retain these pieces of its history.

With its unmistakable 1960s Fender styling, unique hollowbody sound, and thoughtful player-focused maintenance, this 1967 Coronado is an excellent opportunity to own a distinctive piece of Fender history.

Specifications

 Brand: Fender
 Model: Coronado
 Year: 1967
 Body Style: Hollowbody Double Cutaway
 Neck Construction: Bolt-On
 Neck: Maple
 Fingerboard: Rosewood
 Scale Length: 25.5"
 Pickups: Fender DeArmond-Designed Single-Coils
 Frets: Professionally Refretted
 Electronics: Replacement Potentiometers
 Pickup Selector: Replacement Switch
 Output Jack: Replacement
 Original Electronic Components: Included
 Made In: USA
