I’ve tried a few different configurations and pickups throughout the years when it comes to the Jazzmaster. This modification transformed an MIJ Jazzmaster that I bought on a whim to upgrade as time passed to my number one guitar. I had previously purchased the AVII model to serve as my primary instrument, yet the inverse occurred. The treble is far more manageable now. The ideal warmth is achieved regardless of which pickup is being used. Wholly recommend.
