Collection: Black Bobbin Flat Iron
The Black Bobbin Flat Iron is a Chicago-built guitar inspired by the 1960s Chicago-made Truetone Vanguard and named for Wicker Park’s iconic Flat Iron Arts Building. We reimagined the original shape with a new offset waist, a custom neck plate inspired by the building’s ornate facade, Lollar Low Wind Imperial humbuckers, and a Mastery M7 bridge. Built in Chicago by Black Bobbin in partnership with Lockhorn Instruments, the Flat Iron brings together generations of Chicago instrument-making history in a distinctly Black Bobbin design.
