Project # 0044
The completion of the project represents many years of collaboration with Chicago amplifier designer Balthazar de Ley to create a grab and go low wattage amp that sounds rich and full. This partnership began in an effort to cosmetically rethink what Balthazar has created in this sonically wonderful amplifier.
Our Exclusive design was inspired by the Selmer Little Giant, from which we recreated the elegant oval grill edging, gold piping around the top and bottom, the contour of the cabinet front, and the Seagrams script logo. The result is an elegant nod to the golden era of amplifier making, while still feeling contemporary and unique.
We are remarkably proud of this partnership, and suggest the Cabaret 13 for anyone who is looking for an amplifier that has a wide dynamic range, and is suitable for low and high volume situations.
Pre-order deliver timeline is 4-6 weeks from launch. A 50% deposit is required to secure your order, and the remaining balance is due on completion, however you can pay in full if you prefer.
From Balthazar:
The new Cabaret 13 is the smallest Balthazar yet, a 1x10” combo designed for the bedroom, studio, and smaller stage. This amp features a new preamp, thicker and darker than the Film Noir line, capable of going from Brown/Blonde tones at lower volumes to classic British rage when cranked. The unique bias tremolo can go from subtle to intense, including over-the-top “Crimson and Clover” and “How Soon Is Now” vibes. Wrap it in authentic tube spring reverb, and life is a cabaret!
