This Black Bobbin Custom JM was inspired by an incredible collection of custom-color, pre-CBS Fender Jazzmasters acquired by Chicago Music Exchange. Among the collection was a particularly rare Sonic Blue Jazzmaster with gold hardware, and we knew we had to create our own interpretation.
Finished in classic Sonic Blue with a matching headstock, this Custom JM is highlighted by an exceptionally rare Gold Mastery M1 bridge and OMV vibrato set. The combination of Sonic Blue and gold hardware gives the guitar a striking look while keeping the feel and functionality rooted in the vintage Jazzmaster tradition.
A pair of Black Bobbin® Exclusive Lollar pickups paired with Vintage Inspired 280k pots provide the electronics, while a C-profile maple neck, 7.25" radius rosewood fretboard, and 1 11/16" nut width round out the vintage-inspired feel.
Serial #0042 is in excellent condition and includes its Black Bobbin® hardshell case
