This Gibson Explorer pairs one of Gibson’s most iconic body shapes with the warm, understated look of a Natural Walnut finish. Built in the USA during the 2010s, it delivers the powerful sound, sustain, and unmistakable feel that have made the Explorer a favorite for everything from classic rock and blues to heavier styles.
The dual-humbucker configuration provides plenty of output and definition, with a full, articulate neck position and the punch and clarity expected from an Explorer at the bridge. Its set-neck construction and 24.75" scale give it the familiar feel and resonance of a classic Gibson while the large body remains surprisingly balanced and comfortable on a strap.
This example is in good used condition, with playwear, scratches, dings, and other cosmetic signs of use consistent with a guitar of its age. The wear gives the Natural Walnut finish a nicely played-in appearance without taking away from the guitar’s overall performance or playability.
A great opportunity for someone looking for a USA-made Gibson Explorer that has already been played and enjoyed rather than kept tucked away in its case.
