We’re working with a Chicago-based maker to create a signature Black Bobbin candle, inspired by some of our favorite places and memories. The scent blends bay laurel—borrowed from an unforgettable visit to a hot spring in California—with the grounding freshness of spruce and the warm depth of amber. The result is a fragrance that feels both restorative and familiar, much like the atmosphere we try to create in our shop.
Vicinity Candles is local to Chicago and run by Annie and Steve Inacker. They are a husband and wife team who met in the city and live in Lincoln Park with their son and their dog.
